Our Pet Impression Pendants preserve the unique texture of your pet’s nose in solid silver or gold. Just like a fingerprint, every nose print is beautifully individual, creating a personal keepsake that is entirely their own.
 
Impressions can be taken from living pets or from pets who have recently passed away. The process is quick, gentle and completely safe. Our specially formulated skin safe silicone is pressed lightly against the nose for approximately two seconds to capture its unique texture.
 
We can also create pendants using an impression of your pet’s paw or paw pad texture, offering a more subtle way to keep them close.
 
Taking Your Pet’s Impression
At checkout, you can choose either:
Use an existing impression
Select this option if Hamilton Lifecasting Studio has previously taken an impression of your pet, or if you already have a suitable mould.
Receive an impression kit
We will send you an easy to use impression kit with clear instructions, allowing you to take the impression yourself at home.
 
Once returned to our studio, your pet’s impression is carefully prepared, resized if required and recreated in precious metal.

 
Metal and Style Options
Each pendant is individually handcrafted as a one of a kind piece of wearable art.
Gold prices are based on the selected finished pendant size rather than the original size of your pet’s nose impression. Larger or unusually heavy designs may require a custom quote before production begins, or possible rescaling. We will discuss this with you first.

Necklace Pendants
Necklace pendants are available in sterling silver or solid gold.
Gold options include 9ct yellow, white or rose gold. We can also create your pendant in 14ct or 18ct gold by request.
A sterling silver necklace chain is included with silver pendants. For solid gold pendants, you may choose either a gold plated sterling silver chain or upgrade to a solid gold chain.

Keychain Pendants
Keychain pendants are available in sterling silver, bronze or copper and are finished with a durable stainless steel keyring.
As every piece is created directly from your pet’s unique impression, its shape, texture and finished dimensions will naturally vary. No two pendants will ever be exactly alike.


Pendant Sizes
Small
Approximately 10 to 20mm wide
Best suited to cats, very small dogs, charms and delicate pendants.
Medium
Approximately 20 to 40mm wide
Best suited to small and medium sized dogs.
Large
Approximately 40 to 60mm wide
Best suited to larger dogs or those wanting a more substantial statement pendant.
Resizing Your Pet’s Print
 
A large nose does not have to mean a large pendant. We can carefully reduce the scale of your pet’s impression while retaining its distinctive texture and character.
Simply let us know your preferred finished size when ordering, and we will shrink the impression down to create a smaller charm or pendant using your pet’s original print.

*Gold prices are based on a pendant within the approximate size range selected. Particularly thick, heavy or unusually large impressions may require a custom quote before production begins. For oversized impressions these may be reduced in size prior to production. We will discuss this with you first.

After Purchase
Once your order is recieved, Jen will be in touch to confirm any design choices and arrange taking or recieving the mould of your pet.

Turnaround Time
Our usual turnaround time is 6 to 8 weeks.
A 2 to 3 week rush service is available for urgent orders. Please select this option at checkout.
Turnaround time begins once we receive your completed impression mould, rather than from the date your order is placed.
