Angel Casts Charitable Trust was established by Hamilton Lifecasting Studio in 2015 to provide hand and feet stone casts, ink prints, and memory making keepsakes to Waikato families who suffer the loss of a baby or child.

Youth Memorial Hand Cast
Children aged 13–17
Single hand cast - $620
Additional copies of same cast - $450
A reduced rate for families of older children and teenagers, acknowledging that these casts fall outside our free Angel Casts service for children under 12, while recognising that the loss is no less significant.
Adult Memorial Hand Cast
18 years+
Single hand cast - $980
Additional copies of same cast - $620
This price reflects the specialised nature of the work, which requires closure of the studio for a half day and is often carried out in technically and emotionally challenging settings.

Couple Memorial Hand Cast
Couple hand clasp - $1400
This pose requires holding your loved one's hand for a period of 5-10 minutes.
For the best results, this cast is ideally done before embalming and before placement in a casket. A funeral home setting works best where possible, as it gives us the space and access needed to achieve a good result.
Family Memorial Hand Cast
Starting from $1400 for two + $420 for additional hands
This pose is usually achieved by casting your loved one's hand first, then adding family members at a later date. This gives us full control over the pose, and means younger family members aren't placed in the confronting position of holding hands with the deceased for an extended period.
In some cases this can be achieved in a single session, but positioning and access on the day will dictate what's possible.
Cast Duplication
Price on application
All casts can be duplicated. The process involves creating a silicone mould from your original cast, with a support shell to maintain accuracy. Price depends on the number of hands, positioning, and complexity, so quotes are given on an individual basis. The initial mould setup is charged as a one-off cost, after which additional copies from the same mould are available at a reduced rate.

Each piece is crafted by hand and can be styled into any shape or size, with engraving options available.
Fingerprints can be taken remotely by family or a funeral director using our Fingerprinting Kits. If you'd prefer to leave the fingerprinting to us, we offer house calls and visits to funeral homes by arrangement. Callout charges apply.

Hair & Cremation Ashes Inclusion Jewellery
From $390
Each stone, bead, or setting is hand crafted using a small amount of cremation ashes or hair, encaspulated in jewellers resin. We can use any inclusions small enough to fit into the stone setting, such as sand or soil from a special place, a clipping of fabric from a fabourite shirt, dried petals or other small precious keepsakes. These pieces allow you to carry the memory of your loved one close to your heart.

*All bereavement cast prices include travel to your location within Hamilton, casting in high definition resin stone, and a professional gilder's wax finish. Framing and presentation options are available to add on. Travel outside of Hamilton is charged at $2 per return km.

Pet Head Cast

These casts can only be performed after your pet has passed away. Ideally, they are arranged in advance. This means I can visit at your home or veterinary clinic, shortly after passing, to ensure best positioning.
Precious Metal Nose Impression

Pet nose impressions can be created before or after your pet passes, at your home, veterinary clinic or our studio. An exact replica of their nose is then created in wax, and foundry cast in precious metal using the lost wax process. The finished piece can be set as a wearable pendant, ring, or keyring.

Pet Pawprint Pendants are created using 2D ink prints of your pets paw. These are then computer rendered, size adjusted, and pressed into precious metal. Prints can be taken at our studio, your home, or remotely nationwide via DIY kit.
