Figure is a way to transform a 3D scan of your body into a handcrafted miniature sculpture. At your appointment, I’ll take a safe, non-invasive scan that captures your shape in just a few minutes. From there, I refine the scan, adjust details if you’d like, and cast it into your chosen material, from classic stone to solid bronze. Each piece is a custom made one-off original work of art, creating a personal keepsake of your pregnancy or body journey.

Appointments for Hamilton Studio or Pop-up Studios with confirmed dates can be made anytime through our Book Online tab. Once your booking is accepted, you’ll receive an email confirmation and an invoice for a $100 deposit. The balance can be paid at any time before or on completion of your finished sculpture.

The deposit secures your spot and is refundable if you cancel or reschedule up to a week before your session. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the deposit and need to rebook.

To make things easier, Afterpay and layby options are available, so you can spread out payments without the stress of covering the full cost upfront.

Miniature pregnancy sculptures start from $590 for a classic stone finish in 12cm high. Pricing varies depending on size, material, and any personal inclusions you choose. You can view a full pricelist on our website, or get in touch via our contacts tab to discuss options further.

We accept cash, eftpos and all major debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfer, Stripe and Paypal. Afterpay is available if you’d like to split your payments into instalments, and we also offer layby options so you can pay your sculpture off over time. Full payment is required before your piece is released from the studio.

Most people find between 30–36 weeks of pregnancy is the sweet spot. At this stage your bump is beautifully rounded, but you’re still comfortable enough to hold a pose. That said, everyone’s journey is different, so if you’re earlier or later, I’ll work with you to capture your body just as it is, when it fits into your life best.

We’ll begin with a chat to understand your preferences, then look over sample sculptures and pose options together. You can practice poses in your robe and slippers, in front of a full length mirror, until you feel comfortable. Then when you’re ready, you’ll slip off your robe and hold the pose for 1–2 minutes while I scan. I hold the scanner approximately 45cm away from you with no contact, and move it across and around your body. The scan itself is completely safe, non-invasive, and takes just a few minutes.

Your figure will appear on the computer screen instantly, and we can rescan as many times as needed until you’re completely happy with the result. If you’d like, we can capture a variety of poses so you have options to choose from. Once your pose is locked in, we’ll go through finishes and materials so you can decide how your sculpture will be cast and finished.

Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a partner, friend, or family member along for support. Children are more than welcome too, we have a well-stocked toy box to keep little ones happily busy while we work. You’re also free to take photos or videos of the process to share with your family as you wish. If you post images of the studio, my work, or the creation process on social media, I just ask that you tag @hamilton_lifecasting_studio to credit my work, and so others know where to find me.

Come in loose, comfy clothing so your skin doesn’t have marks when we scan. A bottle of water, a snack, or anything that helps you feel at ease is always a good idea. If you'd like to wear some sort of clothing or kimono please bring this with you. I have warm fresh robes and slippers for you to wear between scans.

Same girl! After having 5 kids myself, I'm no pin-up poster model either. Yes, we can absolutely make any adjustments to the scan that make you feel more comfortable about your Figure sculpture, and something you can be proud to show off in your home. If you’d like cellulite softened, muffin tops reduced, or thighs slimmed down, we can go over all of that at your appointment. I’ll email you a proof copy of the scan after adjustments, so you can approve or request changes before I cast your Figure. That way, your finished sculpture reflects you in a way that feels authentic and captures the beauty you already feel within yourself.

That’s completely up to you. Most clients choose nude, while some prefer to wear underwear, or a simple draped robe, whatever helps you feel most comfortable. Just keep in mind that anything you wear will be visible in the finished sculpture, so it’s best to choose solid non-transparent fabrics like cotton or linen. Lace or sheer materials don’t capture well in the final piece.

Each Figure is hand-crafted, so please allow 6–12 weeks depending on the materials you choose. Bronze pieces take a little longer because they go through the foundry process. If you need yours faster, I do offer a rush service for an additional fee.

Yes, we offer a priority rush service for an additional $250. This reduces the turnaround time to 3–4 weeks. We never delay or bump other clients’ work for rush jobs. Instead, we put in extra evenings and weekends to meet your deadline. The rush fee covers the overtime required to complete your sculpture within the shorter timeframe.

Not at all. Figure specialises in pregnancy sculptures, but I can also create miniatures of anyone, including couples, children, breastfeeding mothers, sleeping pets or other bespoke commissions. Feel free to ask about what you have in mind.

You can register your interest for one of our pop-up studios nationwide. Pop-ups are arranged by demand, and we also create private events anywhere in the country for groups of 6 or more.

Yes. The 3D scan uses safe, structured light technology with no radiation. It’s completely harmless for both you and your baby.

Yes, vouchers are available and make a beautiful gift for expecting parents.

Yes. I offer breast and torso only sculptures, including pre-mastectomy casts for those wanting to preserve their form. These can be created as miniature Figures, or as life-sized high-definition stone casts. Get in touch with me via our contacts page and we can discuss your options.

Yes. Newborns can be included. It's important that baby is completely still during the 2 minute scan, so ideally either fast asleep in your arms or breastfeeding during the scan. Older children can also be included at your side, provided they can hold still for at least 60 seconds. You’re welcome to wear light clothing or a draped robe or wrap for modesty while we capture the scan.
